![]() If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. *The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. As a result, under our customer identification program, we must ask for your name, street address, mailing address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Not all rates and loan amounts are available in all states. ![]() Specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under applicable state law and depend upon loan amount, term, and the applicant’s ability to meet our credit criteria, including, but not limited to, credit history, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral. Loans greater than $15,000 or less than $1,500 are funded through our branch network. Loans between $1,500 and $15,000 may be funded online. It’s not the biggest problem obviously, I’m just curious about the change and if anything it would just be nice if the “display” ones were replaced with posters or something equally festive. We offer personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with minimum and maximum amounts dependent on an applicant’s state of residence and the underwriting of the loan. Of course I could just ask a librarian but I don’t want to be a “difficult customer” when they all seem so stressed lately and/or have my 2y/o overhear and get upset. I get that these toys are fomites but I mean all the play museums have them. I’m just curious if anyone knew the story behind what seems like a sudden change to me. Central branch had, in the past, given us stuffed animals to play with while visiting but this week had a new (to me) sign saying not to touch the plushies. Now the “floor” ones are gone and the shelf ones are not to be touched. Some, like West Seneca used to have ones at child-grabbing level that were clearly for play and ones up on shelves that I assumed were for play. Since they all re-opened I’ve been playing with my toddler at various branches (Central, West Seneca, Audubon, Lackawanna, Orchard Park) and it seems like they all suddenly put up signs or had librarians enforce not touching stuffed animals. I’ve always been a heavy utilizer of libraries but like a lot of people that appreciation deepened after having a child.
